Machu Picchu was one of my bucket list items. It is a place of mystery to me that I have always wanted to go to. The problem was that my partner wasn’t as keen as me…in fact he was interested in going. So I knocked that idea on the head as I felt it was a place you should enjoy with someone like minded.

That’s when the universe stepped in and added a bit of magic dust! At a lunch with a friend we got on to talking about our bucket lists…and the first thing she said on her list was Machu Picchu! You could have knocked me down with a feather, especially when she said her partner was not mobile enough to go and she didn’t want to go it alone to such a spiritual place…she wanted like minded people to share the experience!

So our idea of a group of twelve was born.
